Microsoft Campus Agreement

Engineering students are entitled to the Microsoft products listed below and upgrades of those products as long as they are a student in the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech. The Microsoft Campus Ageement licenses will not expire.

Autodesk Information: Virginia Tech Software Distribution is no longer selling Autodesk products, however some Autodesk products are available FREE by download. For more information, go to the Autodesk page.

Off-campus students may obtain loaner CDs instead of downloading products. They are available for a 24 hour period, after which you are charged a late fee. These CDs may be obtained at our Torgersen Hall location.

Important: Before attempting to install your newly-purchased Microsoft Office product, remember to uninstall any trial versions of Microsoft Office installed on your computer at purchase.

Engineering students who need assistance with this product should contact the SW.A.T. Team (http://swatteam.ef.vt.edu/swat2000/index.shtml), which provides software support, such as AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop and other Autodesk products, as well as network and hardware issues..

The Microsoft Product Licensing Web is designed to provide access to licensing terms, conditions and supplemental information relevant to the use of products licensed through Microsoft Volume Licensing Programs.

How to Order

Blacksburg Campus Students: Purchase products directly from Student Software Distribution at the Torgersen end of Torgersen Bridge.

• Students will pick up their Engineering Bundle at 3240 Torgersen and a charge will be added to their student bill maintained in the Bursar's office. A bill will be mailed to the student's home address within 30 days.
• All freshmen engineering students enrolled in introductory courses, who have not previously picked up the Engineering Bundle, will be automatically billed for the bundle and can pick up their Engineering Software Bundle at 3240 Torgersen

Extended Campus Students (NOVA, Hampton Roads, Roanoke Valley, and SWVA): Order by completing the following procedure:

1. Print out the Order Form and the License Agreement for your software.
2. Fill the Order Form and License Agreement out completely. There will be a charge for shipping & handling.
3. Make a photocopy of your Student ID Card (Hokie Passport).
4. Make sure to include your mailing address.
5. Send the forms and photocopy of your Student ID Card (Hokie Passport) to Student Software Sales by either mailing them to 3240 Torgersen Hall, Blacksburg,VA 24061, or faxing them to (540) 231-7634.
